I just watched this sketch from a our first year as a Maude Team and seriously had an LOL attack from Lauren Lapkus’s performance. If you haven’t seen “Made for TV Movie” yet- now’s your chance!
My life, my face
LA woman by way of The Big D. I love the 90's. I wear wigs more often than most people. Peggy Bundy is my fashion icon. I look fly at all times cause I live by the creed "fake it til you make it." I live to be funny and I'm livin the dream. Here you'll find veggies, dogs, fashion, fierceness, funny, my life, and my face. Tonight my homegirl Lauren’s show premieres on NBC. You may have heard some hype on it: ARE YOU THERE, CHELSEA? It aires tonight and is most likely already airing on the East Coast cause I don’t get time zones.
Anyway- she’s one of the good guys. She’s someone you wanna root for, and if you watch tonight you’ll totally get it.
Here she is pictured with my boyfriend and I at last year’s New Years Party (and some other drunk guy in the corner)
TAKE A LOOK AT THAT FACE CAUSE ITS TAKING HOLLYWOOD OVER!!!!

One of Goodman’s most renown sketches thus far. MADE FOR TV MOVIE written by Mark Rennie!
I am in LOVE with my Maude team. Last night we did a deleted scene from INCEPTION at the Oscar Winners Revealed show at UCB.
Jake Regal, Luke Barats as Leo, Myself as Marion Cotillard, and Lauren Lapkus.
Our next show, PS, is March 16th if you wanna see us fo’ yo’ self! Info here
Be happy for them.
I try to keep my decently-sized cunty tendencies at bay. But every once and a while a peer will receive an accolade/success and I get really bitter/annoyed. It’s the usual sitch such as “That untalented skank booked that part!? Ugh she probably blew the director…”
I’m not proud of thinking that, but I also go on record as saying I am a generally agreeable person that doesn’t have a problem with anyone unless they deserve it…typically.
So I am saying this with genuine honesty: It was announced today that a friend booked a pilot. A LEAD. In a sit-com that has a big chance of taking off. Regardless, this is a big stepping stone in her inevitable success. She is so talented and funny and hard-working and it couldn’t have happened to a better person. I feel proud of her even though I really don’t have a right to. She ain’t my kid. But it’s proof that hard work and talent pay off. And that dreams come true :)
So CONGRATS TO LAUREN LAPKUS! The next big thing!
