The DOG DAYS ARE OVER!!!

After 4 years of being LA’s lowest paid but most sought-after dog walker to the rich and famous today I QUIT.

In a few weeks I will be out of the dog business and I’m happier and will sleep better just knowing that. It was just taking over my life. It started out a flexible, fun job and the more clients I got, the more neurotic they got, and the more I was trusted the more my acting/auditions were shelved.

Girl I don’t wanna be doing this forever. I tried to cut back but it didn’t work. I was drowning in dog hair and drool.

So I quit.

Now I’m gonna be super broke but will now prioritize finding another part time job. Probably gonna just wait tables like every other actor but at least I won’t go to my auditions rushed and anxious while baby-wiping mud and slobber off my arms.

PS, I have a screenplay I’m shopping called DOG WALKER. It’s like BRIDESMAIDS, but with MORE DOGS. Call me if interested, Hollywood.

1. Said something awkward to a huge celebrity

2. Got a full-frontal hug from a butt-naked pregnant Porn star

3. Had a dog throw up on me- while driving.

Thingz I did today:

1. Painted my nailz orange, then dyed my hair to match.

2. Got my new business woman blackberry case in the mail.

3. Got my ‘Stang’s oil changed.

4. Had a crappy audition, but that’s okay cause I got another one tomorrow that I will NAIL.

5. Did a favor for a friend that I’m gonna now ask for a favor and he’ll hafta do it for me, cause you know, I did him a favor.

6. About to make vegan burritos for dinner and they’re gonna be the perfect end to a pretty FLY DAY.

It’s good to be busy.

When I find myself stressed out and frustrated that by day I’m a celebrity dog walker and by night I’m a comedic actress,

When I get down on my life, having a part-time job as a means to an end to pay for my full-time dream of getting paid to be funny,

When I run into an audition/rehearsal/performance lint-rolling dog hair off of me and stressing that Princess the Pomeranian didn’t go potty before I put her in the house and I’m gonna get a passive-aggressive text from her owner’s bitchy assistant…

I remember what it was like a few years ago. Living in Burbank and not having rent money, getting up whenever my slob of a body woke itself up only to stare at the Craig’s List job postings, and wondering if I qualify as a “hairy girl” and wondering what that gig would require/if I was willing to find out.

It’s good to be busy.

When I’m dead I’m gonna sleep SO hard….

Had an audition and a callback for an insurance commercial with the Shermanator.

Hollywood is a tough place.
