If you’re an actor in LA, or just a person in LA that loves good quality comedy, and you’re free tomorrow night, I highly suggest seeing this show. It’s a One-Man show (written by and starring just one person) and if you’ve never seen one, this one is a great example of a character-show done right. He does some fun things with audience participation and his humor covers everything from referential to silly to the textbook “heightening” that we’ve all been trying to nail in our improv/sketch classes.
This show is free and I think you should see it. I personally really want to write and perform a one-person show and you might want to, as well. CONVERSATIONS WITH SAD IDIOTS is a great one, and Adam’s hard work, writing, and distinct characters are inspiring.
